TLRA is a quest fantasy Powered by the Apocalypse game. Players take on the role of wanderers on a long and perilous journey, the conclusion of which will protect or save the world from an all-powerful Adversary. It is inspired by classics of the genre like Lord of the Rings and The Dark Tower Cycle, as well as more modern touchstones like Avatar: the Last Airbender and The Banner Saga. They must make sacrifices, some small and some great, to reach the end of their Road, and no wanderer finishes their journey as the some person they were when they started it. NOTE: I am one of the two co-designers of this game.
